Crypto wallet and Visa card in Kenya
Kenya uses its own currency, the Kenyan shilling; the country was one of the world's pioneers in mobile payments long before mass crypto wallets.
How it works in Kenya
Nexus Pay is a crypto wallet with a Visa card. Fund the account in crypto, move what you need to the card, and spend it anywhere Visa is accepted — no Kenyan bank account needed.
In Kenya payments settle in Kenyan shillings: the network converts from USDT at the rate at the moment of the transaction — ATMs work the same way.
What actually reaches your pocket
Our published fees, with no hidden markup on the rate. From 1,000 USDT:
- Swapping inside the wallet — 0%. Exchange rate, no markup.
- $1,000.00 lands on the card — the card top-up is free; card purchases cost 1.5%.
- $984.00 in cash at an ATM, after our fee of 1.5% + 1 USDT per withdrawal.
The ATM operator in Kenya may add its own fee on top of ours. That money does not come to us, it differs by machine, and it cannot be stated in advance.

How to fund the account
In crypto across six networks: USDT and USDC on TRC-20, ERC-20, BEP-20 and TON; BTC and ETH on their own chains. The address is issued for the network you pick.
Blockchain transfers are irreversible. Sending on the wrong network means the funds are gone for good — check both the address and the network.
What you need to start
- A Telegram or Google account — sign-in goes through them, there is no separate password.
- Crypto to fund the account — any supported coin.
- For a card, identity verification: anti-money-laundering law requires it.
